What we build

KGM, formerly SsangYong Motor Company, is a Korean manufacturer specialising in 4x4s, SUVs, MPVs and utes. It has also built trucks, buses and special-purpose vehicles for export, which shaped the strong, reliable character of today’s range.

KGM’s headquarters is in the Gangnam district of Seoul. Its main plant is at Pyeongtaek and can build 240,000 vehicles a year. KGM has also invested in a new factory in the same area, developed specifically to build pure-electric vehicles.
